30th  IQAC MEETING

DATE – 11-11-2024

TIME- 3:00 PM

A meeting has been scheduled today, 11/11/2024, in the college staff room under the joint supervision of the IQAC and NEP Implementation Cell. The agenda and key points of discussion are as follows:

*Agenda:*

1. Review of actions from the previous meeting.
2. Implementation of the Private Students Policy for students – 2024.
3. Progress on the implementation of NEP-2020 (GE/VAC).
4. Status of NSS report preparation and division of tasks for the Camp.

*Review:*

1. The process of preparing data for AQAR 2023-24 has been initiated.
2. Activities related to GE/VAC/AEC are being carried out according to the scheduled timetable.
3. An internal committee has been formed for the PGDCA lab, and received proposals are being reviewed to proceed further.

*Discussion Highlights:*

1. The designated committee for Private students was instructed to mail the list of private students to the university.
2. The Principal was consulted regarding the internal assessment guidelines.
3. After receiving the list of private students, groups will be formed, and faculty members will conduct online/offline classes, maintaining a record of attendance and progress.
4. Data collection for AQAR 2023-24 has been reported by the responsible persons, and suggestions for best practices were provided by Jayshree Mandal.
5. Assistance from external speakers will be sought for the NSS Camp, and the task division was clarified.
6. Faculty members were briefed on the new examination pattern for the first-semester students under NEP-2020, which includes multiple choice, short-answer, and long-answer questions.

The discussions and points mentioned in the meeting were agreed upon by the attending faculty members.

*Review and Decisions Taken in the Meeting:

1. *Academic Calendar Committee* has successfully created the academic calendar for the year.
2. *National Education Policy (NEP-2020) Implementation Cell* conducted a sensitization program for faculty, staff, and students of the college.
3. *Work division for AQAR 2023-24* has been initiated as per the assigned responsibilities.
4. *Implementation of NEP-2020:* The admission process for students and the conduct of GE VAC / AFC classes as per NEP-2020 guidelines has been discussed and initiated.

* Discussion on the Implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP-2020)
Discussions Related to the Admission Process
Review, Discussion, and Decisions:

* The annual examination of the college was successfully conducted.
* Documents related to the programs organized by the college are being received by IQAC.
* The Academic Calendar Committee has been assigned the task of preparing an academic calendar for the college.
* The Timetable Committee has received approval for the timetable prepared for the smooth functioning of the college, in accordance with the provisions of the National Education Policy.
* A sensitization program on NEP-2020 will be organized by the National Education Policy Implementation Cell on 04.09.2024.
* The Implementation Cell and NEP Ambassador (CR) will ensure the dissemination of information regarding the provisions of NEP-2020.
A Help Desk Committee has been set up for the assistance of newly enrolled students to support the implementation of NEP. They will circulate information regarding NEP provisions through banners, flyers, and social media.
The above points were agreed upon by all present members, and the meeting was concluded with collective consent.

Point of discussion –

Documents of programmes organised in the college were submitted to IQAC by the committees.
* Technical problems were faced in sending the documents to the e-mail ID.
AQAR 2022-23 was successfully taken before the last date.
* Problems faced in AQAR submission were discussed.
*  It was suggested by the college professors that the preparation for AQAR will start from the month of October .
* Instructions were given to data entry operator for admission in  college.
* For the preparation of college annual examination, the  superintendent and  assistant superintendent and related staff were oriented.

Point of discussion –

Exhibitions and programs were organized by the departments of the college – Home Science | Mathematics | Red Cross | NSS| Career Guidance Cell
Lecture on employment was given by Career guidance cell. By opening the suggestion box by the Grievance *Redressal* Committee. Appropriate action was taken.
*AQAR-2022-23 Criteria Division and related AQAR data has been uploaded in NAAC portal which is likely to be completed by next month. Since the date has been extended till Feb, 2024, the extra time should be utilized properly.
Reconstitution of committees –
* Website Updation Committee for NAAC of the college, Alumni Association Cell, Anti Ragging Committee, Academic Calendar Committee, Feedback Committee,
Reorganization of mentorship cell etc. This was suggested by Prof. Rasmi shukla, Dr. Princy Dugga and Mrs. Babita Diwan.
*All the departments of the college were directed to submit systematic reports/documents to IQAC after the completion of the programme. For this, IQAC mail ID was provided to everyone.
* The responsibility of preparing criteria wise suggestions for NAAC/AQAR (as per work divided for AQAR- 22-23) was given to the committee convener and members, which will have to be placed in the next meeting.

* Various departments and committees of the college were directed to organize extra-curricular activities such as exhibitions, programs on important days, etc.
*  The Alumni Cell was directed to organize the Alumni meeting.
* The Career Guidance Cell was directed to conduct lectures and classes for career and skill development among the girl students.
* The Grievance Redressal Committee was directed to open the complaint box of the college once on the last working day of every second week.
* Take appropriate action on frequent complaints and suggestions and revise the documents.

Point of discussion –

To decide about the thing to be purchased from the recent allotment from UGC.

It was decided  to buy a computer, printer with scanner and a voltage stablizer
